V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University
V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Karazin University), with its more than 200 years history, is one of
the oldest and biggest universities in Eastern Europe. It is recognized to play a key role in the development of
Kharkiv (Kharkov) into a million-plus city and to contribute a lot to the development of the Ukrainian
education and science.
The University was founded in 1804. It has graduated about 150 000 Ukrainian students and more than 20
000 international students (studying Medicine, MD, MBBBS) from different countries (Austria, Belgium,
Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, India, Israel, Jamaica, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Maldives, Italy,

Medicine Faculty

English medium offered for International Students has been designed specifically to study General Medicine (MBBS, MD). Indian Students
The University provides regular practicing in hospitals, where senior students get real training of
medical skills after studying main subjects of MBBS (General Medicine, MD).
