Kharkiv International Medical University
Kharkiv International Medical University is the self-financed private and leading institution, established in Ukraine, licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It was the first international medical university of Ukraine established in the 19th century, to provide higher education in various domains, specifically medicine.

Medicine Faculty
The Medical course at the Kharkiv National Medical University (KNMU) takes six years and leads to MD
(Doctor of Medicine) or MBBS. In the under graduate program, during six years of study the students learn
different subjects from fundamental subjects disciplines to special medical subjects. This is an exciting time in

Kharkiv National Medical University offers extraordinary hostel facilities with fully furnished rooms, and the campus located near by the University.

The University is currently training about 8 000 students, among them more than 4 600 foreign citizens from 76 countries (India, Morocco, Nigeria, Israel, Egypt, Lebanon etc.)The International students department of Kharkiv National Medical University (KNMU) provides course advice for potential students, assists with the admission and enrolment of international students and provides ongoing academic, cultural, social and personal support for international students.
The International students department can advise on all matters relating to application, accommodation (each and every international student is guaranteed with a seat in University hostel), admission, fees, immigration, arrival services, orientation and advice on visa requirements, medical insurance and general concerns.
Whether enquiries are of an educational, personal, legal, social, cultural or financial nature, somebody will be able to assist. This means providing course information, processing your admission application as efficiently as possible and giving advice on living and studying in Kharkiv.
